In the last minute rush before Christmas it was time to make gift tags!  IMG_0963

This first tag was made by cutting a circle of Neenah card stock and stamped with an Impression Obsession background stamp in Versamark ink.  Using a sticky embossing powder and heating it with my heat gun allowed me to cover the image in glitter.  The fireplace and stockings are a My Favorite Things die that were cut out of card stock and attached with Ranger multi-medium matte.

For the next tag, (on the left) patterned paper was cut out with a Sizzix tag die and whole reinforcer.  The stag die is from Ellen Hutson and was cut out of gold glitter wrapping paper once and black card stock several times.  Each black die cut was glued together and then the gold glitter die adhered to the top.  Once dry it was simply a matter of attaching the stag to the tag with Ranger multi-medium matte.

The final tag was cut from black polka dot acetate card stock with a Lawn Fawn die.  The sentiment and laurel wreath are Ellen Hutson dies that come from the companies 2014 Holiday collection.  Before adhering the laurel wreath I covered it in Versamark ink and coated it in a sticky embossing powder.  Once the embossing powder was heat set it was covered in glitter.  Although it doesn’t show well in the photo the tag has added dimension due to the glitter 🙂

That’s it for today!
