During the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge I colored a number of images that I’m finally getting around to making into cards! The main image in this card is by The Greeting Farm – just adore their rubber stamps!
I stamped my image on Neenah card stock in Memento tuxedo black ink and colored her in with copic markers. I took a clear Glaze pen and went over her shoes and hair ribbons for a little bit of shine.
This card is all about layered elements! I die cut a 3×4 card out of navy card stock and used a Lil’ Inker Design plate to get the stitched background. I also used their stitched flower die for the little flower elements on the white flag. I adhered the flower and leaves onto the white flag and used my mini-stapler to attach it to the navy mini-panel. The ‘xoxo’ die is by Amy Tangerine and the patterned paper by Pebbles
To put this card together I took an A2 panel cut out from an Avery Elle card stock. I placed my 3×4 navy panel and placed washi tape behind it on the top bottom before adhering the mini-panel. The wreath die is from Reverse Confetti and is also cut from Pebbles card stock. I offset the wreath to balance out the card and then adhered the girl using foam tape to keep her as the focus. Next I took my ‘xoxo’ sentiment, which I’d die cut twice to add some bulk, and adhered it using multi-medium matte.
To finish this card I added some glossy accents to the flower center and some heart sequins around the sentiment. I attached my panel to a top folding card base and then rounded the bottom corners with my 1/2″ corner chomper.
She is super cute!! Love this! Thanks for joining us at TGF!
