This little beach baby is from an older Penny Black stamp set. I colored her months ago with copic markers and finally used her on a card. When I create water color or blended backgrounds I tend to make multiple at the same time. This ensures I can play with multiple color combinations, account for varying results, and I’m bound to like at least one of them. 😉
I made this rainbow background using only three ink colors. First I stamped a backgrounds stamp from Simon Says Stamp in Versamark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Taking Seedless Preserve, Mustard Seed and Mermaid Lagoon I blended the three colors and overlapped each to create the rainbow background.
I cut out the heart die from Simon Says Stamp in white card stock and popped out some the hearts before glueing it to the rainbow panel. I stamped the sentiment from Altenew on white card stock and heat embossed it using a Wow embossing powder. I popped my stamped image up on some foam tape and placed my sentiment slightly underneath. A little glossy accents on her goggles and intertube and the card was complete!
hello! this is super fun, I adore all the color! I am so glad you played along with us at simon says stamp wednesday challenge!
