…to begin making your holiday cards! I’ve been making all my holiday cards for the last several years. After individualizing each one last year I thought I’d make it a little easier on myself this year by creating several cards of the same design. Yeah…best intentions. These next several cards you will note that the sweet little Neat & Tangled images from ‘Lumberjack Love’ are colored exactly the same but each card is different. So, first up…
To color the boy and girl I used the following Copic markers:
- Girl – hair: E43, E47, E49; skin: BV00, E000, E00
- Boy – hair: E31, Y28, YR24; skin: V12, E11, E33
- Trees – E39, E29, YG06, G05, G07, G29
After coloring in my images I traced the hillside in pencil and then cut it out. I cut an A2 panel out of navy card stock and used masking tape to cover the edges. I taped down the Simon Says Stamp ‘snow’ stencil and covered it in embossing paste. After placing foam tape on my fussy cut winter scene I attached it to the snow covered panel.
Finally I cut stars and my sentiment (from Lawn Fawn) out of gold card stock. I added some Glaze pen to the eyes of my boy and girl to finish the card. That’s it!
Thanks for stopping by!
