The MISTI (stamping tool) is pretty awesome and is a life-saver when making multiples of the same card. So with the intent of making holiday cards “easier” this year I stamped the same card three times and began coloring the sweet boy and girl images from ‘Lumberjack Love’. I couldn’t do it. I colored all three sets of the boy and girl and instead made several different cards. You can see the others I’ve posted here or here!
I used Copic markers to color my image as follows, hair: E43, E47, E49 and skin: BV00, E000, E00. I cut her out and then “colored” along the edge of the image with my black Memento marker. The card uses some ‘My Mind’s Eye’ papers for the background and paper pieced trees. I layered the ‘Punchinella’ die, also from Neat and Tangled, under the girl and played with the placement of my greeting and holly dies. The ‘Joy’ die and greeting are from Ellen Hutson and the Holly die is from Reverse Confetti.
I finished this card by adding some glossy accents to both ‘Joy’ and the holly berries! Thanks for stopping by!
